YouTube Is Testing a New Design on Desktop

The YouTube platform is entering a new era with its new CEO. The platform is testing the new design on the desktop.

YouTube has started testing the new interface design on the desktop. In this new interface, which is not yet known when it will be opened to everyone, all the information under the videos is taken to the right side. YouTube will divide the entire section under the videos into advice / recommendation videos, and is also conducting tests in order to switch to the new interface on the main page.

In the meantime, the company made an important announcement for content producers today. “It feels easier to handle copyright issues. In the coming weeks, you will be able to view and dispute copyright issues directly from the YouTube Studio mobile app." YouTube, which is still the biggest name in terms of video platforms, continues to be one of the most important sources of income for content producers and brands, despite the huge influence of TikTok. Many people can't make enough money from TikTok and other networks.

Neal Mohan, the new CEO of YouTube, made big announcements for the platform last month.

Stating that they will continue to put content producers in the first place recently, Mohan also made a remarkable speech focused on artificial intelligence. Accordingly, some “AI” tools will be added to the platform soon, and content producers will have access to advanced tools that can expand their storytelling and increase production values, from changing clothes virtually to creating a fantastic movie environment with artificial intelligence in the coming period.

Mohan, who has not yet provided detailed information on this subject, also stated that they spend time developing these features in a safe way. “Artificial intelligence offers incredible creative opportunities, but they must be properly balanced,” said Mohan, adding that new plans are on the way for Shorts.

For example, dual video support, similar to TikTok's Duet, will be brought to the platform in the coming months. Duet allows you to post your video side-by-side with another creator's video on TikTok and has been a hit for a long time.

Announcing that they will bring support for watching multiple sports broadcasts at the same time in the YouTube TV special, Neal Mohan said about his new job, "I saw the potential of YouTube in the first days of its establishment," and added: "I am incredibly excited now to have the chance to take the platform into the future."
